 Skip-A-Long Child Development
Services (Skip-A-Long CDS) consists of the Moline Campus, the Rock Island Campus, the
Davenport Campus, the Trinity Employee Child Care Center, and the Home Child
Care Network (HCCN), a network of private in-home care providers throughout
the Illinois and Iowa Quad Cities.
Skip-A-Long
CDS began in 1970 when Skip-A-Long Day Care Center was founded as a
not-for-profit child care center to provide high quality affordable child
care. We believe today, as we did then, that ALL families should have access
to high quality accessible child development services that will enable
children to realize their fullest potential.
Skip-A-Long CDS offers:

school and summer programs for school-age children

to teacher ratios well within state requirements

based care in Moline and Rock
Island in Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa,
plus in-home child care locations throughout the Quad Cities

fee
assistance through both Illinois and Iowa, and the United Way
|
Several key staff members administer the programs under the
governance of a volunteer Board of Directors.
Skip-A-Long CDS has
various volunteer, fund raising and sponsorship
opportunities.
